- Our Story
Our masks are handmade by the loving hands of Lake Atitlan’s Women’s Weaving Cooperative. Woven using organic materials on backstrap looms, these masks are reusable, sustainable and machine washable. They have been made in accordance with the CDC guidelines and are sold in packs of 2 or 5.
Many communities in Guatemala are being severely affected by the economic impact of the virus. For many communities, their income stream has dried up. By making these masks, not only are they contributing to the health of people around the world but they are also providing a respectable and much needed income for themselves during this difficult time.
You will be provided with a selection from our unique and colourful designs, some examples of which you can see in these images.
Each one is handmade and unique, variations will apply.
Machine washable, air dry.
