This blanket is handcrafted with love by our partners in San Juan La Laguna, Lake Atitlan, Guatemala.
Locally collected cotton is dyed using natural plant sources. The cotton is then dried, hand-spun and woven on a backstrap loom. This one of a kind blanket makes a beautiful décor accent in your home and is the perfect size to wrap around your shoulders on a cool evening.
Your purchase helps support Rosa and her team of weavers. Rosa established her women’s weaving cooperative 20 years ago to improve economic conditions and the quality of life for women in the community of San Juan La Laguna. By purchasing this blanket you are helping Rosa and her weavers achieve economic empowerment.
